I've been using these for a couple weeks now, and the open nail design really helps keep the fingertip clean while still providing solid protection. The polypropylene material is rigid enough to stay in place during typing, which was my main concern.

These splints hold my finger firm after an injury, and the molded polypropylene feels sturdy without being bulky. The open nail design is a nice touch for fingertip protection while letting me still use the finger normally.
